Bella Manufacturing worked with Chatter Brand Experience, a marketing agency whose client is Primo Foods, the largest producer of ham, bacon and smallgoods in the Southern Hemisphere.

The food truck was built for a community based campaign, with the Primo Food Truck visiting different sporting, charity associations and clubs each week to cook up a delicious feast and fundraise for the local community.

The 4.5m rear pod is designed as a self contained mobile commercial kitchen, to cater at outdoor venues. Equipment inside includes a heavy duty griddle hotplate for frying up delicious bacon and egg rolls. Constructed in stainless steel and featuring a black cast iron grill, this has a removable drip tray for easy access, maintenance and cleaning.

A 2-door prep fridge and 2-door underbench fridge offer plenty of cold storage for smallgoods and other ingredients, and an 8-slice contact grill for toasties and heated benchtop display for keeping cooked food warm have also been installed.

As with all Bella made trucks, an exterior ventilation system for on-board refrigeration ensures correct operation, food storage temperatures and lower running costs. Hot water systems, stainless steel benchtops, food-grade walls and flooring and much more, make this food truck safe, compliant and a fantastic asset for a trusted Australian brand.

The Primo Food Truck has been visiting flood-affected areas to deliver hot meals to families without electricity; sporting clubs to help fundraise and community organisations such as Surf Life Saving Clubs. It’s a win for the community as well as a fantastic brand experience.
